Suggested Revision to How BIA, Plan, and Document Due Dates Work

A client has suggested that the Due Date for their BIAs, plans, and documents should be able to be set to be Due Date + Update Frequency - instead of Last Approval Date + Update Frequency. They want this because they want to pick a due date for a BIA, plan, or document - e.g., March 31 - and then have that same due date apply year over year regardless of when the item is actually approved. Thought of a different way, they'd like Due Date to work like meeting recurrence in Outlook - they want to be able to set a cadence for review/approval and have it apply regardless of when the item is actually approved.

    "long-term" roadmap seems like a far away concept. could you be a little more specific? This type of BASIC functionality is offered by every other BC software in the market. This should be escalated and brought into production. This is just one example of a lack of industry standard functionality that could lead an organization to seek other BC software.
