Cleared and Stop Payment Updates

Ability to do the below items regardless of payment status or if Log Payment or check.

Cleared Date needs added to a payment

Cleared Date needs removed from a payment

Payment changed from Stop Payment to Cleared

Payment changed from Cleared to Stop Payment

  • Sometimes do a stop payment and then hear from the bank that it actually was not stopped that it actually cleared

  • Sometimes bank will say payment cleared but then come back and say it hasn’t – at times need to do a stop payment on these

Payment is/was Stop Payment and need to remove negative transaction

  • Currently, negative transaction is created when do stop payment. If move from stop payment to cleared, need to remove negative payment or should we change to $0? Ideal is to cancel the negative transaction and adjust amount to $0

  • Would want to see the history that it went from stop payment back to cleared but need the financials to reflect correctly that it was actually paid
