The Customer Ideas Portal gives you the opportunity to submit Ideas for new features and functions to add to the products and vote up existing ideas that are important to your organization.

Ideas that you create are viewable by other customers, so please be mindful of the details you include in the title and description.

Note: Product bugs or configuration requests that are specific to your organization should be submitted through a case on the Customer Success Portal.

System gen.values/fields should be available in Workflow and Dashboards

There are several system generated fields and values that are not accessible to us in Dashboards and Workflows. e.g. "Owning Item", "Created By", Last Updated fields. These are very useful for reporting, organizing data in a dashboard (by using Group By functionality of a widget) or in a workflow.

Scenario 1 - In a workflow you could put a criteria that if the "owning item" is "Dept X" or "Project Y" then certain fields could be read only for certain groups or users.

Scenario 2 - You can make a dashboard widget "# of risks by Dept or Project" where Owning Item will be the Dept. or project name

It would be good if all such fields are made available in WF and Dashboards so we don't have to keep requesting for them as most are already available in Filters.

    Hi, the enhancement described in scenario 2 is planned for release in a few months time. Below is a very basic example of what this might look like. We will keep you posted.
