Ideas that you create are viewable by other customers, so please be mindful of the details you include in the title and description.

Insights Reporting: Enable Custom Fields to be selected and reported on

Am example here is with Applications.

Many customers have their IT applications collated into a Tier structure - i.e. Tier 0 being essential applications for the business, tier 1 being important applications, down to tier 4 or 5 which are bespoke applications with minimal impact to the business if they were not available.

Within the Applications core library a Custom Field can be created to align each application to its applicable Tier.

However, within Insights reporting this Custom Field is not able to be selected and thus, there is not the ability to view and report in the IT DR planning per Tier. This has been tried within the Custom Reports function after the Custom Field has been created and populated within Customise System Fields>Applications.

Note: this is one example of the use of Custom Fields, which will be different for each client and therefore having the ability for each client to report on what is important to them is the reason for this Idea.

    July 2023's release includes an option for customizable standard fields that address this. Longer term roadmaps also include more advanced custom reporting.
