Large enterprises partner with enterprise service providers like Workday or facilities management firms, and various departments and divisions may work with dozens of contacts from a single vendor (e.g., regional reps, customer success, customer support, account services, etc.) which can create a large number of contacts that are not centralized and are largely manually updated. Creating a core list that allows for the creation of contacts (much like internal contacts currently works today) associated with suppliers or maintained independently would improve functionality and potential integration capabilities with other systems and allow for the automated update and synchronous information across a large number of associated documents in RK BC&R. This is something our competitors (e.g., Fusion, BCIC) and legacy products (Assurance CM) currently do.
In an ideal world, this would look like the internal contacts core list with a relationship field to connect it to a supplier. In plans and documents, you would be able to add a vendor rep/external contact to a teams section and related team contact information section. Lastly, in BIAs, the user would be able to pull from a pick list of primary and secondary contacts rather than manually enter and update the information.
