Lockout / Tagout

Lockout/tagout – Essentially standardized procedures and best practices to track and implement that workers would need to follow to properly shut down equipment during maintenance procedures on said equipment.

  • Would need proper storage of all the procedures related to equipment in use by a company.

  • Tracking of the steps within the procedures when maintenance needs to occur especially related to equipment that manage things like pressure, gas, electricity, radioactive materials, etc.

    • Can be done via a number of questionnaire tools we have.

  • All of this is to properly train and track that proper LOTO procedures are followed. The latter is important with respect to OSHA and other situations if an event occurs that leads to injury during these maintenance periods on equipment.
