The Customer Ideas Portal gives you the opportunity to submit Ideas for new features and functions to add to the products and vote up existing ideas that are important to your organization.

Ideas that you create are viewable by other customers, so please be mindful of the details you include in the title and description.

Note: Product bugs or configuration requests that are specific to your organization should be submitted through a case on the Customer Success Portal.

Disabling the PVC Portal (PVC Portal)

Client wanted the ability to disable the Portal after the collection period. Per Jeff, the only way to achieve that is by changing the active VF page to the "In Maintenance" page. Conceptually, Client was looking for a simple button that would activate or deactivate the Portal. One option that may be more appetizing is simply changing the language on the "In Maintenance" page to reflect something more along the lines of, as an example:

The properties and property values collection portal is only active during the insurance renewal period. Please email Risk Management (blahblah@blah.com) if you have any questions or concerns regarding properties.

Additionally, there are advantages to leaving the portal active:

  1. Users can enter new Properties throughout the year as needed.

  2. Users can view their Properties throughout the year but are unable to manipulate the Property Values except during the renewal periods.
